Oklahoma Tornado Relief

Posted in Information on May 25th, 2013 by Cris Trapani

While we enjoy our concerts and events this weekend, we ask that everyone who visits HerrinFesta visit the Herrin Kroger parking lot and donate to disaster relief efforts for those affected by the recent tornado in Oklahoma.

The Herrin Ministral Alliance has organized a truck of relief supplies to be delivered to those in need.

They are accepting non-perishable foods, bottled water, yard tools (rakes, shovels, etc), gloves, personal hygiene items, feminine products, baby products (diapers, formula, etc), tarps, tents, paper goods (plates, cups, towels, etc), and storage tubs.

No clothing is being accepted.

They will be collecting from 8am to 6pm Sunday, May 26, 2013.

Ongoing efforts in Oklahoma have served more than 3,000 meals in just 24 hours.

Herrin Kroger is located on South Park Avenue at the intersection of Clark Trail.

Our sincere appreciation to all of those who donate.
