2010 Official Entry Application form can be obtained at the Herrin Chamber of Commerce (after April 8, 2010), 3 S. Park Avenue, Herrin, IL. Business hours are M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Closed for lunch from 12 Noon to 1:00 pm.

Rules & Information

• Pageant is open to females between the ages of 16 and 24 years of age as of Monday, May 24, 2010, who have never been married and have never given birth to a child. Each contestant must be an Illinois resident, and if in attendance at an educational institution, including high school, college, or a university – that particular school must be an Illinois institution.
• Contestants must compete in the following categories: Personal interview with the Judges, Sportswear, Swimwear, and Evening Gown. The top 5 contestants will also compete in an On-Stage Interview with Master of Ceremonies.
• Contestants must attend both a workshop/rehearsal & a final rehearsal prior to the pageant. Please note, the Personal Interview Phase of competition will be held on the same date as the final rehearsal.
• Contestants will be featured in an opening number, wearing their interview attire that will not be judged. More information will follow upon entry.

Deadline & Details

• All entries must be postmarked no later than May 1, 2010. No late entries will be accepted.
• Contestants are required to obtain a Sponsor and pay an Entry/Sponsorship Fee. Sponsors may be individuals, businesses, or simply family and friends. The sponsorship fee for each entry is $75.00. All entry fees MUST be made payable to HerrinFesta Italiana – failure to do so will result in the payment being returned.
• An entry is considered complete only when all of these items are included:

1. Completed official entry application.
2. Three (3) color photos that are head-shot only and no larger than a 5 x 7 size. Only actual photos will be accepted.
3. Entry/Sponsorship fee made payable to HerrinFesta Italiana.

• All entries MUST be returned to: Pageant Director, 308 South 12th Street, Herrin, IL 62948. Entries will not be accepted at the Herrin Chamber of Commerce or any other location. For more information, contact Pageant Director, Melissa Drew, at 618-439-7370.
